Buzz and Bumble Cards

I love the new Buzz and Bumble paper- my name means honey bee so I love anything with cute little honey makers on it!

Here's my new workshop coming in April (which is perfect timing for Mother's Day):

It's a cute little gift set: 6 cards with a coordinating gift box!

The workshop will be held April 20th 9am-12pm and the cost is $12.

Let me know if you're interested!

Sunshine Card

During this blah winter I needed a little sunshine so I made this card:

And here's what I used:
Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge
Cricut Artiste Cartridge
Blue button
Surf's Up workshop on the go kit stamp set
Creme brulee bakers twine
Surf's Up blue paper
slate washi tape
creme brulee cardstock
hollyhock cardstock
creme brulee stamp pad
pins
pop tape
liquid glass
scallop punch

For the heart pins I cut 3/4" hearts from the cricut and glued them to straight pins.  I think the sunburst was cut at 3"then I stamped one of the images with creme brulee ink all over.  The "fun shine" stamp is part of the Surf's Up kit and was stamped in creme brulee.

Now I just need to look and my card and pretend that I am not in a blizzardy wasteland, but instead on the nice warm beaches of the tropic.... ahhhhh.  If only it actually worked!  But at least I can now send a little sunshine to someone- check your mailbox it could be you ;)

Cricut Cards

I needed some cards for my workshop, so I got my trusty cricut out and started cutting away.  Here are the cards I came up with:

Fun, fun, fun!  I gave myself the challenge to use black and white and then a little color for each card.  Thank goodness for electronics that cut things out for me because there is no way in anything I would be able to cut that stuff out!

Here are the cards up close:
This one uses fun embossing plates to give it a little more pop.  Bravo indeed!
This would make a great wedding card- see inside...
After you take the band off and open it there's the sentiment
I really wanted something with red and after trying over and over again to get something that looked good here's what I got.  Thank you card for finally turning out!
This workshop will be Saturday, February 16th 9am-12pm and the cost is $5 for 3 cards, or if you also do the BeYOUtiful layout it is $12 for both.
