Tag!

I had to make 25 tags.  I didn't have a lot of time.  So what do you do?  You mass produce!  And with washi tape it is a breeze!  You are going to love this.

1.  Lay your tags out in a line and roll the washi tape over them.

 

2. Fold the tags as you go if you have a large amount to do.

 

 

3. Repeat as needed with additional washi tape and shimmer trim.  If you run out of one just cut it at the end of a tag and start with your new washi tape on the next tag, keeping them all in place.

4. Cut in between the tags

5. Add stamped image

Wah-lah!

 I really like to use all my supplies, so after you cut your page base from the cartridge, you use the rest of the page to embellish/ design the pages.  A little goes a long ways!  The kraft envelopes are retired now so you can either find a consultant that still has some (I do!) or put a different one in, or make one from the Artiste cartridge.

Workshop Christmas Cards!

Do you like to make Christmas cards?  I do!  In fact, I am a little obsessed with Christmas cards.  I LOVE them!  I keep them.  For several years.  Homemade, store bought, photo cards, they all go into my Christmas box.  Yikes- maybe I shouldn't admit that.  Honestly I am not a hoarder.

Here are some Christmas cards using various stamps, sparkle and shin washi tape, and sparkle and shin paper.  So easy to make and fun!

This will be a workshop, Saturday Nov 30th 9:30am.  The cost is $15 and you get 6 cards and envelopes (various sizes), plus a Ruby embellishment pack (you'll have plenty leftover to play with).  You can also do 2 sets for $27.  Then you'll be done with your holiday cards and ready to put them in the mail!

Christmas Card

Yes I know it is still October.  But I saw a sign in a store that said, "11 more Saturdays until Christmas".  Yikes!  Bring on the stress, am I right? 

Hobby Lobby has had their Christmas stuff up since late June, which is disgusting, but they had this beautiful display of Santa and wreaths with peacock feathers.  If I were a fancy person I would totally decorate with peacock Christmas wreaths and such, but I am not.  Instead I will decorate with all my mish-mosh Christmas stuff I've accumulated over the years which includes my nativity with the beheaded Joseph (you can't have nice things with kids).  Anyways, I wanted to make a peacock card and this is what I came up with.  It turned out a little too country but maybe if I can get some feathers I can make a more peacocky one later.

Christmas Cards

Christmas preparation is under full swing!  Here are some cards I made that will be  offered as a workshop.  Tis the season!

The workshop will be held Saturday, December 1st 10am- 12pm.  The cost is $4 for 3 cards- you can do more sets if you'd like.

Christmas Slacker

So once I started this blog I was pretty sure I wouldn't keep up on it.  And lo and behold I came through on that.  Here is the Christmas picture I used:

I made some cards, but I made a whole bunch of different ones and didn't take pictures of any of them.  I sent them out as I made them so the last batch went out last week.  And ya know at this point I'm just glad it's done!  Merry Slacker Christmas everyone!
