Fun with Stamp of the Month

March's stamp of the month is beautiful and fun!  And perfect for any upcoming spring weddings..

Supplies needed:

CTMH March stamp of the month or a stamp set like this: Love Blooms
For Always paper pack
Colonial White cardstock
Black shimmer trim
Pink glitter gems
Wooden flourishes
Cashmere ink pad
Hollyhock ink pad
Blush ink pad
adhesive
liquid glass
pop tape

The card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  The black piece of paper is from the For Always pack and is 3 1/4 x 3 1/4.  For the flourishes I adhered them with liquid glass.  After stamping the flowers and cutting them out I edged them with the cashmere ink.  To glue them to the card, I used adhesive for the parts that are on top of the wooden flourishes and pop tape for the parts on the card.  The black glitter trim is just on the top and bottom edge of the black square.

Happy stamping!

Sweet and Simple

So for our end-of-the-year gift for my oldest's teacher we made cute lollipop bouquets.  Super easy!!!  All we did is punch holes in die cut paper flowers and put them on the lollipop sticks.  Then I taped those to empty fake flower stems and bunched them together, wrapped it with tissue paper and cellophane, and walla! you have a sweet (literally) gift for teacher.

If you don't want the lollipop wrapper to show you can just cover them with some tissue paper.

I found that taping the end of the wrapper to the stick helped make it easier for my son to put the paper flowers on the stick.  And of course you can always make the flowers and lollipops coordinate better than I did.

So there you have it!  And I also will accept these for mother's day (hint hint kids)
